Walk the Line
A view of the world - its people, lands, cultures - from 40 degrees latitude north. I would follow that line of latitude, east to west, never diverting from the path, capturing the beauty that exists under one geographic commonality.
My idea is to travel along latitude 40 degrees north, going east to west, never diverting from the path, around the entire circumference of our planet, photographing the world along the way. It’s a path with no beginning and no end, and that’s what I like most about it.
The journey would take me through untouched lands and bustling cities alike. The people would change along the way, as would the cultures and terrain. I plan to capture the details as well as the broad views, the people as well as the animals, the architecture as well as the natural structures.
Roughly, this journey would take me through Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Armenia, China, Japan, California, Colorado, and Pennsylvania.
