Holding on to a special photo is like holding on to a piece of my heart. A photo of my child's first smile, or their beaming face saying "I did it!", or simply an old, worn down photograph of my grandfather standing in uniform. All of these images are a piece of my heart, and are simply priceless.
Looking into these photos I feel my soul, my love, and my life. Every single person deserves to feel that exact same joy, by holding onto their own photo of someone that is significant in their lives.
There are so many people living their lives, without this simple item. Whether it be from poverty, homelessness, to an unfortunate natural disaster that took away their photos. Everyone deserves that photo that brings tears to their eyes.
I would love to be a part of making sure that people all over the world can have that feeling of holding in their hand a special photograph and the feelings felt behind it. A photograph can bring tears to one's eyes, not because of what is initially seen, but because of the emotion that lies within.
As a photographer, each & every time that I pick up my camera, I want to exude every detail of emotion of that single, special moment of time for the person that will someday cherish that same image.
So that someone can hold their own special, priceless photo in the palm of their hands, I want to give "a piece of my heart".

Something you may want to look into is teen homelessness. They are the ones who fall through the cracks. I just say this because its a cause I have worked on. Think about it :) You've earned my vote. check out my idea if you'd like, although it does not relate to this I may submit another that does.
