Positively Green

My dream lives N parks and villages N Kenya or Silicon Valley,Germany and Haiti,or whirling on the oceans surface or residing deep within the earths core.More importantly the dream lives in the hearts/minds of those living Positively Green.

My dream is photograph (and to interview) the positive movement in Sustainability and environmental protection. Yes, we as citizens of the planet are keenly aware and informed of what we are doing wrong. But where is the emphasis of what we are doing correctly? Who are the innovators, the heroes and heroins, the farmers, or the scientists are are walking their talk, and at this very moment creating the prototype of invention to keep our planet green.
I propose to travel to Kenya and photograph Waangari Maathai and her Green Belt Movement, to the MPP Collectives in Haiti to photograph the sustainable methods in farming that are not only low cost, but sustainable, labor saving, and instill pride. I propose to travel to Denmark to photographs the worlds largest and successful Wind turbine park, that artfully graces the Baltic, I would like to do this from an airplane. Or the wind turbine on the Crow reservation in Montana that fuels the reservation and offers an alternative to gambling as a financial means to support the reservation inhabitants.
Yes, I dream of a book, an exhibit, and especially, I dream of a book for children to inspire their imagination and to fuel their minds for the careers of the future, because the future is here. Now!
