This Land is Your Land, This Land is My Land
Individuals, couples, families and groups are using one of the most valuable resources, land, to bring communities together and give back to nature. I want to document their stories to inspire others to follow their lead.
Many Americans feel disconnected from nature and are lacking a sense of place and history.
There is a new generation that seeks to find their own place, writing their own stories and creating something to pass down to future generations.
Individuals, couples, families and groups are using one of the most valuable resources, land, to bring communities together and give back to nature. Growing organic farms, community gardens, building artist residencies, establishing self-sustainable venues and much more, this generation is finding ways to share this land. Literally, finding a place and molding that land into a giving and nurturing resource. Developing land that will sustain many future generations to come.
I want to travel this country and seek these individuals who have taken the future in their hands. Capturing their dreams and stories in hopes of encouraging, educating and inspiring others to follow their lead.

Your project is beautiful. Traveling the states, talking with progressive people who recognize the value of community and are working towards their vision. And you're right, it is this generation, our generation, it is a shift and a completely different way of doing and thinking about things.
