Teacher Changing the World: One Student at a Time
While education in the United States is in crisis, there are many talented teachers getting results. My photographs will highlight successful teachers in action, showing how they reach students in an innovative and creative way.
Education reform is one of the hot topics today. There are many teachers and programs out there that are getting result and reaching students in innovative ways. I plan on having a blog that serve as a resource for teachers to gain inspiration and ideas for their own classrooms. People across the United States can nominate a teacher. I would go, visit them in action, interview the teachers, and highlight the techniques they use in the classroom that gets results. Not only will it be about what individual teachers are doing to get results, but it will also discuss actual techniques that others can apply in their own classrooms. It would be a mentoring type website. Great teachers should be honored, and their secrets should be revealed for others to use and apply. The more publicity it gets, the better our education system can benefit.

I am a teacher and I love this idea. There is so much diversity amoung teachers and students -- so many interesting photographic possibilities. Everything from the inner city, to the cushy prep schools, to home schooling in rural communities. The world's teachers are shaping tomorrow's humanity!

Good ideas like yours that are not in the Top 100 are nearly impossible to find. This is unfair as many great ideas are hidden.
