Framing Historical Europe From Artist Point of View
I dream of exploring the countries of Europe to document the classic architecture, historical landmarks, and the great scenery as viewed by the great classic painters and artists before my time.
Ever since reading about Europe through studies in our art history classes during college, I have dreamed of touring Europe to see the beauty that the great artists of our past saw when they created some of their great works of art.
With so many great things to see and so many great photo opportunities, I can imagine filling a nice size book with shots from great places like the Sistine Chapel, Leaning Tower of Pisa (before it actually falls), the canals of Italy, all the great Romanesque architecture, ancient Rome and the ruins left behind, as well as the resting beds of many famous characters which filled art books, history books and other historical reads.
A break from shooting would definitely be needed from time to time where I would then take advantage of the local food offerings. Of course I would probably end up shooting my food too if it were especially delicious and pleasantly presented.
Accommodations would be rustic living quarters where again I might find more wonderful shooting opportunities of the residential side of Europe and its hospitality while learning the ways of the culture.
Once completing this wonderful journey, I would have to share the experience with everyone I know with possible presentations and a website devoted to the trip and the photos taken.
