Iran Revealed
A photographic look a the fascinating country of Iran.
Iran is constantly in the news, yet remains one of the most misunderstood countries in the world. It also has thousands of years of history and tradition yet strives to maintain a foothold in the modern world. This assignment will use the camera to visit Iran and it's people, from the capital of Tehran to the holy city of Qom and to tiny villages throughout out the country. From modern oil workers and clerics to tradtional carpet weavers and ethnic minorities. This assignment attempts to reveal what this country is about and who its people are; to shed light on this fascinating country. The goal is not to deliver a political message but one of humanity and understanding for an ancient culture and civilization, yet one that is also modern and faces many of the challenges that the rest of the world faces as we head into the future.

most of the projects here are documentary assignments, and most of the judges are documentary photographs. I believe in my project, but I don't think I have a chance, coz my project is more conceptual. Anyways.. good luck with yours!
Interesting idea, check out mine and vote for me if you like it. Its about poverty and society in 3rd world countries and how they are controlled, devastated by their governments and western industrialized nations.
