A Tiny Dream
I want to photograph families on both sides of adoption and have others feel it. I want to capture experiences on adopting here in the US as well as other countries... I imagine finding stories of, hope, success, love and possibly regret.
Adoption isn't a topic I know much about. I have a daughter that is biologically mine. I love her dearly and feel everyone should be able to experience the joy a child brings.
I honestly don't know what I will find on either side of the adoption story. I hope to find a tale of love and dreams fulfilled on each side.
I would like to follow a family (or person) that has made a decision to adopt outside of our country as well as within the states. I want to photograph the life of the child's biological parents as well as the life of the adopting parents.
I dream of photographing the pure emotions this process brings.
The way I imagine this unfolding is my photos will show complete range of emotion, sadness, fear, excitement, anticipation and end with complete joy and boundless love.
Please help me with my dream.

They are called open adoptions and they are truly a beautiful thing. The child is so nurtuted and loved and everyone shares in the story of a child thought of first. To capture this in photo would be amazing. I hope you win.
