Educating the world on Education
An intimate look at Education across the globe. Help me educate myself and others about what the word "school" means in the eyes of children around the world.
What is my dream photography assignment? I would love to travel to as many countries as poassible and photograph children getting an education. Sometimes I think we focus so much on test scores that we often take our education for granted and how blessed we are. I think so many of us are blessed to have beautiful schools, well educated teachers, plentiful supplies, and playground equipment. Do other countries get these benefits? I would love to travel across the globe and photograph children in the place they call school. My dream is to see how a school in Africa differs from a school in China, and a school in Ireland differs from a school in the Dominican Republic. Bringing it back to the states, how does a school in Beverly Hills differ from a school in rural Mississippi? I would love to see how different children learn, what their recess is like, do they eat lunch at school, do they go to school 5 days a week? I think this experience could be very eye opening. My dream is to document this experience into a book to share with schools across the world. Please vote for me and help me educate myself and many others on education here across the Earth!

great idea, good luck! I teach photography to high school students part-time and love that whole concept of giving back to the youth so that they can inspire, too. Here's my idea: http://www.nameyourdreamassignment.com/the-ideas/jenmay/unity-through-community/
Interesting idea. I think our ideas are related and I am glad to support yours. Maybe you will be interested to contribute your thoughts about themes children could work on in my project? Your support will be also appreciated.
Amy --
Send postcards and have a beer for me when you're scouting the schools in Scotland. MacKenzie.
Unite against the “network” that is scheming votes. Support ideas that are “lost” due to unworthy ideas using low tactics. “Insulin” is not the best idea. Something is wrong here and many fantastic ideas are getting lost due to the “network.” If you like my idea on “Vanishing Cultures,” vote for it.
With several teachers in my family, I know how important education is to the world. Sounds like a wonderful project. My project also focuses attention on children. Hopefully all of our projects together will bring attention to some worthy causes. You have my vote. Good luck!
I love this idea! check out mine and Pic it if youd like! Congo here I come...
sweet idea!
Education issues certainly don't get enough attention. I'm voting for you. Feel free to return the favor and vote for my project to document political upheaval, land seizures and rights abuses in Zimbabwe.
You have my vote, If you get the chance, check out my dream "From Australia With Love" and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE vote for it!
Thanks.
