Brother and Sister Duo raft the Ohio river
A brother and sister duo float down the Ohio River on a raft made from recycled parts to raise awareness about river pollution and the fleeting scenic beauty of the mid-west's mighty Ohio river.
Over a period of two to three months, my sister Amy and I will float down the Ohio River on a home-made raft to bring attention to the importance and majesty of the river. We were born in the Cincinnati, Ohio area and have always been inspired and drawn to the river's mystery.
The raft will be assembled in our own backyard with the help of our friends and family using only recycled materials. We will photograph the natural timeless beauty of the river, the effects of centuries of pollution, and the river's daily importance to both people living and working along the banks, and the plants and animals who inhabit it.
At the end of the trip, we will use the some of the $50,000 to publish and promote a book and an album documenting the trip. Proceeds will go toward environmental non-profits to help clean up the river.

hey thanks trina. yeah, Amy and I have been planning it for a couple years. We will most likely do this (or some variation of this) at some point, just depends on timing and of course, money.
